The founding themes of “Calanques Classique” is the development of floating heritage of traditional boats and environmental heritage of the Creeks. All in a spirit of conviviality own seafarers. The classical tradition boats or boats are a true floating memory of the expertise of architects and carpenters in the first half of the twentieth century era known as the “golden age of yachting”. Part of that fleet was gathered near the Pavilion of the Société Nautique de Marseille and offers all year round under public Marseillais but also the many visitors to the Phocéenne cited nearly thirty high quality boats .
The regatta, passing the creeks of Sormiou white limestone, sailing close under the cliffs of Devenson, Sugiton, Port Miou or En Vau and along the ochre cliffs of Cape Canaille is an invitation to contemplate landscapes natural beautiful allowing everyone to appreciate its true value an exceptional natural heritage.
