This year the Maritime Festival and the Lifeboat Weekend are joining forces for a thrilling family fun-filled weekend. On Saturday, watch the Clovelly Cup Yacht Race and the two mile sponsored swim from Bucks Mills to Clovelly. On both Saturday and Sunday there is a packed programme of activities for all the family. It includes live music, street entertainment, event-themed arts & crafts, mermaid storytelling, competitions, games, Punch & Judy, face painting, children’s activities, stalls selling delicious food, lifeboat operational displays and more. Free entry for under 16s who come in maritime-themed costumes. In aid of the R.N.L.I.

On the Saturday, you can also watch a 2 mile sponsored swim from Bucks Mills to Clovelly, starting at 9:00 am and the exciting Clovelly Cup yacht race, 12 to 2pm.
In the evening, live music in the harbour will continue from 5 to 8pm and a Pub Quiz in the Red Lion Harbour Bar at 8:30 pm (in aid of the RNLI).
On Sunday morning, ATC Gun run up the cobbles and there will be lifeboat operational displays during the day.
