On 8th and 9th September 2018 the second edition of the International Hannibal Classic will take place, a regatta for classic sailors organized by the Hannibal Yacht Club of Monfalcone (Adriatic Sea). Dinner buffet for the crews on Friday 7 September and departure the next day from Monfalcone arriving in Portorož, Slovenia, after crossing the Gulf of Trieste.
Reverse route on Sunday, returning to the Hannibal Marina and awarding ceremony. The event, sponsored by Marina Hannibal and the Italian eyewear brand W-EYE, will also be the third stage of the AIVE Adriatic Cup, sponsored by the Italian Vele d’Epoca Association.
This year the regatta will be dedicated to the sailor Sergio Sorrentino, the champion of the Dragon class also founder of the Hannibal Marina who died in 2017.
