It’s the Beale Park Boat Show this weekend – June 1 to 3.
It’s always a good show and great to see the boats on the water – many of which you can try out yourself.
While mainly a small boat show – where the boats are mostly small that is, there is also often a good amount of second hand gear on sale with various outlets turning up to entice us…
Don’t miss the taste sensation of Mike Smylie’s Kippers at Kipperland on the north side of the lake; the food area is also a good place to sit and relax and watch the boats go by – it often calls itself Britain’s Most Relaxed Boat Show. There is camping in the fields around the show and many make a weekend of it.
