The eighth one-day programme dedicated to the history of maritime Cornwall is being held at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, in Falmouth, on Saturday, 5th October 2019. Researchers, whether in universities or based at home, have been beavering away in archives and elsewhere discovering people, places and ships. We will hear the results of projects and research that illuminate our understanding of our maritime past.
This biannual day continues to prove popular and it is a good way to hear from a range of speakers. There are, as always, plenty of opportunities to chat with fellow attendees and to explore the museum.
