Plymouth-based Shipwrights Stirling and Son and Treluggan Boatyard up the river Lynher in Saltash are looking to hire new staff.
Sara Stirling tells CS: “Due to a number of projects that we have on the go we are looking for the following; Shipwrights/boatbuilders, Joiners for interior fit-outs, Welders and metal workers, Finishers for painting, varnishing, sanding, plugging etc; Marine Engineers, Marine Electricians and a Boatyard Manager for Treluggan Boatyard.” 
She adds: “Stirling and Son and Treluggan Boatyard look for people who are hardworking, responsible, productive, quick to learn, think about the job and notice the details. We like them enthusiastic, positive and friendly, calm and steady – don’t make excuses when things go wrong but look for solutions; willing to do any job that is required.
