Harold Cudmore has taken out the 2018 Australian Historical 18-Footers Championship in YENDYS after years of being the runner-up. Harold has been coming to Sydney for a few months each season for the last 15 years and steering several different boats in the replica fleet at the Sydney Flying Squadron. Previous holder ABERDARE (John Winning) won the first of three heats, Harold and the YENDYS team won the second heat, so it was all down to the third heat. YENDYS won by more than 2 minutes from ABERDARE and the rest of a fleet of 10 boats watched by a packed spectator ferry.
