Historic sailing vessel Irene has made a significant change in its programme for 2018 with the introduction of new Sail Paddle Walk holidays starting this June in Western Scotland. The new voyages enable guests to make the most of the stunning landscape combining sailing with guided walks and Sea Kayaking in partnership with Arasaig Sea Kayak Centre Using sea kayaks there will be the opportunity to explore generally inaccessible coastline, discovering new areas and increasing the opportunity to get closer to wildlife.

Stuart Grimwood Irene’s Manager said
We are keen to widen the appeal of traditional sailing and attract broader audiences looking for adventurous holidays that don’t break the bank. The Western isles are simply stunning and there is no better way to discover them than from the water.

Guests aboard Irene will find little change on deck from her launch in 1907 but will be surprised to find below the decks she is fitted with all mod cons, including spacious en-suite berths and a professional galley.
Irene has her own professional crew giving guests the opportunity to join in hauling ropes, enjoy guided walks and kayaking. No experience is required and full instruction will be given.

Our emphasis on hospitality is renowned, our onboard chef produces 3 meals a day as well as and refreshments throughout the day, all inclusive in the cost.

Holidays start at £1215 per person for 6 nights and are inclusive of meals and *most activities.
