Your privacy matters to us
Classic Sailor does not share your data with anyone else and data is protected to be used by key individuals for administration of accounts only.

We keep your basic details to register you as a new customer or supporter; to contact you about your account, subscription or another order; to verify your identity in relation to customer service or to inform you of any relevant changes of our service.

If you have signed up for our (infrequent) newsletter you can always tell us that you wish to stop receiving it at any time.

How do we protect your information?
Your details are treated in accordance with existing laws. We do not keep your sensitive data online and our backup is to an encrypted hard-drive in the office. We do not keep any banking or card details; we can’t see these ourselves. In keeping with normal practice we keep certain information about customers (such as address and transaction data) for seven years after they cease being customers for tax purposes.

If you pay using your credit card, debit card or PayPal account, your order is processed by Paypal – which is one of the most secure online payment systems in the world. Paypal has its own security and privacy policy: www.paypal.com/privacy

UK direct debits are processed by the well-established Go-cardless company. See their privacy policy: gocardless.com/privacy

You have the right and are welcome to request any information we hold about you and to correct it providing you can prove who you are.
