Book signing of Les Fêtes Maritimes

Because of Covid restrictions sadly I cannot be in Rochefort this coming weekend, writes Dan Houston, to join the photographer Nigel Pert in signing copies of our collaborative book – Celebrating Trad Boats (or Les Fêtes Maritimes de Brest ) to give it its French title.

On Saturday 26th it’s the annual general meeting of the replica French sailing frigate Hermione and also a five year celebration since her successful trip to the USA. It’s a public event and Nigel will be there with copies of the book (which includes pages on Hermione). Signing sessions will be at the Arsenal des Mers:

In the morning, at the L ‘Hermione boutique shop starting at 11 am, then at the La Corderie Royale bookstore between 2pm and 3pm and again between 4 and 5pm.

To avoid confusion this is a bilingual book – photographically led, and with short introductory chapters and captions in both English and French. The same book is available with different covers via Amazon.co.uk with an English cover and also the French cover.
