This book reviews the 166 years history of the America’s Cup to date, wrangling over the years all the way from the early 1870 British challenges by the cantankerous James Ashbury to the recent ostracising of Grant Dalton’s team in the run up to the last cup only for ETNZ to be victorious and taking the cup back to Monohulls being raced in the City of Sails.
Along the way it includes such chapters of history as the Infamous Austrialia II winged keel design and who might have actually designed it.

Alan Sefton and Larry Keating graphically describe how big money and powerful egos vie for the ultimate sailing prize. JM
