For years – since the Boat Show moved away from Earls Court and into the ExCel centre across town in 2004, there have been calls for boats in the pool – a one time central feature of the show.
So it was interesting to see the new Shrimper 21 from Cornish Crabbers tied up and floating quite serenely in a corner (SW corner) of the Boat Show when we were setting up yesterday.
The pool is for trying canoeing etc but visitors will enjoy the experience of stepping aboard a boat like the Shrimper to see how she feels in the water; a good move by the Boat Show we say!
