The Lynher River Barge CIC, is a new charitable company formed to restore and operate the Lynher Barge on the Plymouth Waterways. The Lynher of Cremyll will become a primary educational platform operating on the Rivers and in the Plymouth Sound.

The Lynher is currently being restored undercover at Mashfords Boatyard, at Cremyll, Torpoint in Cornwall. She is kept going by donations and those who regularly volunteer to help complete this challenging restoration. “What motivates us in this formidible project, is the magnificent heritage the barge represents and the adventurous educational opportunitites she promises to a new generation,” says Barbara Bridgman for the charity.
