The joy of tiny traditional model sailing boats

With a traditional outrigger design and colurful sails the model  jongs have been raced For centuries by the Malays in South East Asia. Miniatures of the local outrigger canoes the sport for these wooden model yachts is becoming keen again after a period when it was dying out. Model sailors might spend a whole day on the water, taking their craft out to sea and setting them to race back to shore.
