Classic Sailor is an online magazine for all who love boats and boating and publishes news and features covering seamanship in seaworthy boats: GRP, wood and other materials. Ours is a broad approach aimed at sailors who enjoy some of the traditions of sailing and we cover a wide range of boating activities, from rowing to Tall Ships, yachts and workboats, events, news and maritime culture.
The magazine began as a paper publication on 2015 but following the death of our founder and chairman David Walker early in the summer of 2017 we were forced to cease publication of the paper issue of the magazine in December 2017. Our most recent issue was No18 the October-November issue which can be found with the others in our Archive: HERE.

Please do subscribe to our newsletter (at the bottom of this page) as well. We’re kind of old school in that we don’t send these out very often and we don’t share your details with anyone.
